The Trail Riders Band

Anne Marie Burr – Bass Guitar, Vocals

Anne Marie was on stage by age 3 singing Buck Owen’s “I’ve Got A Tiger By The Tail” with her brother’s band. She learned to play rhythm guitar at age 13 and won various local talent shows throughout her teenage years. Her love of performing was put on hold while she attended college and raised her three older sons. She began singing again when her husband, Jerry, began playing guitar with her family. She began playing bass guitar six years ago when the band was in need of a bass player. Anne Marie’s musical influences range from the traditional country music of Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and Merle Haggard to the modern music of Martina McBride, George Strait, Alan Jackson, & Reba McEntire. Jerry and Anne Marie have one daughter, five sons and two grandsons.
